PARTNERS MEETING in Durres, Albania
The partners of the HEATSAFE project will meet in Durrës, Albania for a Steering Committee to review the progress of the project and discuss the next steps in the implementation of its activities.
During the meeting, partners will assess the advancement of the different work packages, including the development of Local Action Plans, the implementation of pilot actions, and ongoing coordination within the Interreg Euro-MED Green Living Areas mission. The meeting will also provide an opportunity to exchange experiences and align upcoming milestones and collaborative activities across the consortium.
Particular attention will be given to ongoing pilot initiatives and local measures aimed at improving preparedness and response to extreme heat. Partners will also discuss communication and awareness-raising activities designed to support local communities and stakeholders in adapting to increasing heat risks.
The meeting will also include a technical visit to local sites in Durrës relevant to the project, allowing partners to better understand the local context and explore the areas where pilot actions and heat adaptation measures are being developed. This visit will provide valuable insights for the exchange of knowledge and the replication of solutions across the participating territories.
